Stuck in Lost Tide Islands? Here's How I Got Unstuck
Lost Tide Islands trusts you a lot, which is lovely until you're staring at an island with no idea what to do. I got stuck twice, and both times the answer was in a clue I'd walked past earlier.
The game rewards reading the environment. Carvings, broken tools, the way a path is worn down, these are all hints. I started taking screenshots of anything that looked symbolic, and suddenly later puzzles made sense.
When you're truly stuck, revisit earlier islands. The game often places a clue before you can use it, assuming you'll connect the dots later. That non-linear hinting is the whole charm once you adjust to it.
My only warning is that one or two late puzzles lean on fairly obscure logic. If you've exhausted the environment and still can't progress, don't feel bad about checking a hint. It didn't spoil the mood for me.
