Neon Drift Rally

Neon Drift Rally gets the most important thing right: drifting feels great. You tap to brake into a corner and the car slides with a weight that's rare on mobile. Tracks are neon-soaked and fast, and the sense of speed holds up even on an older phone.

Tilt and tap controls are both solid, though I settled on tap steering for precision. Upgrades are sensible rather than grindy, and the time-trial mode is where I spent most of my hours. It's pure arcade fun in short bursts.
