Ironhold Command

Ironhold Command is a slow-burn strategy game where you expand a fortress, manage resources, and fend off waves of raiders. The satisfying part is the layout puzzle: where you place walls and towers genuinely changes how a siege plays out.

It leans on timers more than I'd like, but you can play plenty without them. The campaign maps are hand-designed and some of the later ones are proper brain-teasers. If you enjoy planning three moves ahead, this one clicks.
